COUNTING ON ACTION

Counting on Action was Enactus Capilano's inaugural project in 2016. Now fully self-sustaining, Counting on Action aims to touch on youth empowerment, financial literacy, quality education, responsible consumption and production of a product. Our goal is to empower a generation of youth who are both forward-thinking in entrepreneurial and sustainable business practice through a series of seven collaborative workshops.

For the first 3 years, University students from Enactus Capilano went into North Shore high schools and teach students business knowledge. These workshops have now been turned into course packages available for instructors. These packages include a PowerPoint presentation, presentation guides and activities. Through this knowledge, students create their own product, marketing plan, and business.
